This is my personal website. After 15+ years of working as a member of the team at Potomac Digitek (PODI) I was let go due to less workload. It was great being able to contribute to their success in any way I could. Great bunch of people remain and they specialize in association sites and applications. The phrase they use "online problems solved" is apt as when clients came to PODI, we always got great comments from the association managers and staff about the solution provided and the results they've experienced, especially in user and member engagement.

Recommend them highly for any association, they really are a reliable, responsive and innovate group. When you call them, you actually talk to a human first and not some automated AI voice system, that is a major plus.

I'm actively seeking to join a dynamic team where I can leverage my technical expertise to drive company objectives forward and contribute to meaningful projects. Following being layoff, I took the opportunity to strategically expand my skill set into modern full-stack development. With a strong foundation in ColdFusion and JavaScript, I identified Node.js, React, Express, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS as the ideal technologies to master for building cross-platform web and mobile applications, particularly for iOS.

I developed a comprehensive learning plan with AI assistance, which proved invaluable for structuring my approach and clarifying complex concepts.

AI served as an excellent resource for troubleshooting errors and overcoming development challenges—not as a replacement for deep understanding, but as an accelerator for learning and problem-solving. Once proficient, I architected and developed Photo Reelz, my first production application. To differentiate it in a crowded market, I added a unique video creation feature that transforms photo collages into shareable movies. This required building a custom Node.js/Express API with FFmpeg integration to power the app's video processing capabilities—a significant technical challenge that I successfully delivered.

I handled every aspect of Photo Reelz independently: architecture, full-stack development, UI/UX design, marketing materials, App Store assets, website design, and all branding graphics. This end-to-end ownership demonstrated my ability to take a product from concept through to market release.

While I don't claim to be an expert, I'm trying to showcase my comprehensive understanding of the complete development lifecycle—from initial planning and architecture through development, deployment, and launch.

Currently, I'm also developing Life Logik, a second application scheduled for release by the end of February 2026, further expanding my portfolio and skill set.
